Wow, this was a nice read. Great flow, well layed-out and was easy to read. I also learnt about a few bands I had never heard of before, although I suspect I would recognise their hits. The cover was absolutely stunning!

Oh what a fun book! So replete with tidbits and fun facts, it brought smiles to my face so many times and a happy nostalgia for the music of the 60s. I am not one to know or remember bands and songs, I merely appreciate them in a vague kind of way, but this book was a treat for me. The legal issues the various bands had was not something I thought I would be interested in, but in fact I found them fascinating. The ways bands were named, the quirks and funny quotes, all the elements were there to make this a light but rich experience, bringing levity and a sense of historical perspective about how much of an influence these ten bands had, which is felt to this day, and will continue to be felt. A wonderful experience to be taken on a journey through such a pivotal time in history through the lens of the musicians who helped shape that era. This was so enjoyable.

Keep going, PJ! This is the perfect topic, and the perfect treatment of it. You've hit the nail on the head!
